Mailing Lists

Subscription

You can add/remove yourself to/from lists or, if you are the administrator, administrate the list from either http://mailman.cs.umn.edu or http://mailman.itlabs.umn.edu (Course mailing lists are on itlabs).

Setup

Systems Staff can set up mailing lists for faculty members. To create a mailing list, send an e-mail to operator [at] cs.umn.edu with the following information:

• List name
• List owner (e-mail address & full name)
• Administrative Password (Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be e-mailed back to you in clear text.)
• Full List Title
• Open subscription or requires approval of list owner
• Description of list (optional)

Note: We are no longer supporting majordomo mailing lists.
