VPN Connections

The Computer Science and Engineering (CS&E) Department, the Electrical & Computer Engineering Department and the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) Public Labs have a vpn server that is used to make a secure connection to the private networks located in Keller Hall.

There are three separate profiles, one for each department/college.

  • The CS&E Department has a login profile called ComputerScience.
  • The ECE Department has a login profile called ElectricalEngineering.
  • The CSE labs has a login profile called CSELabs.

For all of the profiles listed above, a Cisco client will be needed. There are no webvpn clients available. The primary client to be used is called Cisco AnyConnect. The AnyConnect client uses an SSL protocol to make the secure connection. The other available client is the Cisco vpn client that uses a secure IPSec connection.

We recommend using the Cisco AnyConnect (SSL) client, however if the AnyConnect client doesn't work for you, try using the Cisco VPN client (IPSec).

Continue with Cisco AnyConnect (recommended).

Continue with Cisco VPN Client (use only if the anyconnect client doesn't work).
