Web Development

Students, faculty, and staff have several options for creating a web presence at the University of Minnesota. With a valid account, all users can create a homepage in their home directory. If you would like to start a Blog, the University of Minnesota libraries hosts the UThink Blog - all you need is your U of M Internet ID and password to get started. If you need a wiki, the University of Minnesota offers the UMWiki running on TWiki.

For research groups within the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, space can be provided to host a website for your group. Your site can consist of html that you control or it can be created using MediaWiki or Drupal. Please send an email to operator [at] cs [dot] umn [dot] edu for more information.
